Parking
There is street parking available close to the shop. You can pay for street parking at the street meters or you can download parking kitty app in advance to pay remotely.
Smart park on 10th and Morrison will be the best value for a full day.
Clothing/Attire
Dress comfortably, millinery is physical work. We have rolling chairs and sewing machines. For blocking you will be standing and bending using water and/or steam. Long sleeve, lightweight shirts are recommended. Aprons will be available for use in the shop.
Lunch/breaks
We can accommodate a thirty minute lunch break if needed. However, we have found students typically prefer to have snacks and/or a light lunch on-site in order to make sure they have adequate time to finish their work.
We have a small fridge available, filtered water, and a kettle for warm drinks.
